We are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Plans and implements HR function and leads HR activities. Develops HR policies to implement strategic objectives, develops and submits budget,and prepares plans and programs. Organizes, staffs, and supervises HR department. Directs HR research, records management, reporting and service activities. Coordinates job analysis, recruiting, selection, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, and employee relations activities and programs. Coordinates HR component of health, safety, and security programs. Performs related services as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASK


Planning - Participates with executive leadership in strategic planning process.
HR Administration - Assigns responsibilities to professional and clerical staff. Maintains current information on HR practices and Legal Requirements.
Staffing - Coordinates on-site analysis of jobs and preparation of job description.
Training and Development - Implements orientation programs for new employees and ongoing management and employee training.
Performance Appraisal - Approves performance appraisal instruments. May coordinate validation studies. Ensures necessary training. Schedules and monitors performance appraisal process in departments. Reviews ratings for compliance with EEO laws and regulations. Compiles and analyzes appraisal data needed to support other HR activities. Compensation - Obtains approval for pay structures. Coordinates job evaluation and grade placements. Employee Relations - Coordinates periodic assessments of employee morale and satisfaction. Related Services - Serves on committees and task forces as required.
JOB SPECIFICATION

Knowledge of concepts, theories, techniques, Federal/state employment laws, organization and administration. Verbal communication skills to lead subordinates, counsel employees, assist with training, deliver presentations, and speak to external groups. Reading skills to comprehend professional literature, laws and regulations, legal documents and related theoretical or technical material. Create/Develop business correspondence, policies, procedures, proposals, brochures, and new articles. Computer Skills to use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and specialized human resource information systems programs. Ability to develop and Implement HR strategies that achieve Industries mission and objectives.
Credential and Experience

Degree in Human Management or closely related field from accredited college or University. Minimum of 7 years professional experience in HR field and/or including management of a major HR activity. Professional certification by the Human Resource Certification Institute, Preferred. Experience in Manufacturing Industry highly desired
